The exterior earns several updates, including a new cascading grille and daytime running LED headlights. The redesigned rear fascia has updated taillights and new alloy wheels underneath. Hyundai also adds value with several standard exterior features, including projector headlights with LED accents, daytime running lights, automatic headlights, front fog lights, and a roof-mounted Centre High-Mount Stop Lamp. A safety-enhancing windshield wiper de-icer is standard across all trims.
The Preferred trim and up receive blind spot detection indicators and a mirror-mounted LED turn signal indicator. The Ultimate model upgrades to wider custom 19” wheels and rain-sensing wipers.

Hyundai offers two powerful engine choices for 2019. The base 2.0-litre direct-injected four-cylinder with 161 horsepower is standard in the Essential and Preferred models. A 181-horsepower 2.4-litre four-cylinder engine powers the remaining trims. Both engines pair up with a six-speed automatic transmission with Shiftronic manual shifting and overdrive lock-up torque converter.
